One voice can make a difference. Thousands can make a choir. In honor of its one-year anniversary on Broadway, we created Broadway’s first-ever Virtual Choir for Tony Award®-winning musical, DEAR EVAN HANSEN. From Japan to Norway, fans from 31 countries around the world lent their hearts and talent to the “You Will Be Found” Virtual Choir, undeniably proving that every voice matters. This video, seen by over 1.2 million people and counting, poignantly encapsulates the show’s message and celebrates the highly engaged online community that has formed from people who have been “found” by this musical. The Virtual Choir was crafted from an overwhelming pool of user-generated video submissions and consultation from Alex Lacamoire (music supervision/orchestrations) and Nevin Steinberg (sound design) to help to make our choir sing.
